Crocodiles signen Allzweckwaffe Jarvis McClam

Jarvis McClam ist kein gewöhnlicher Spieler. Er hat mehrfach unter Beweis gestellt, dass er als Allzeckwaffe auf nahezu allen Positionen eingesetzt werden kann. Der 27 jährige aus Prince George County, Maryland ist 1,85m groß und 90Kg schwer.

Er spielte alle 4 Seasons an der Seton Hill University, wo er 3 mal ins „First Team All conference“ in einer der größten und schwierigsten NCAA D2 Conferences gewählt wurde: Die Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). 2015 wurde er fort als Return Specialist, 2017 als als Runningback ausgezichnet. McClam hält außerdem bis heute den Seton Hill Rekord für 15 Catches in einem Spiel und zusätzlich den meisten rushing yards mit 291 bei 11 carries und 3 Touchdowns.

Nachdem er am selben NFL Pro Day wie QB Christian Strong teilgenommen hat, wo er nicht als undrafted Free Agent verpflichtet wurde, ging er nach Brisbane, Australien. Dort spielte er mit Strong für die Brisbane Rhinos in der Gridirion Queensland League. Zusammen erreichten sie die das Finale, wurden jedoch leider nur zweite. Nach dieser Saison wechselte McClam 2019 zu den Langenfeld Longhorns in die GFL2 als starting Quarterback. Mit 1.445 rushing yards und insgesammt 49 Toucdowns (22 rushing Touchdowns / 25 passing Touchdowns / 1 receiving Touchdown / 1 interception Touchdown) führte er die GFL2 Liga-Statistik in 2019 an.

Jarvis McClam is unlike your regular positional players. He truly is classified as an all purpose multi dimensional athlete and he has the credentials to prove it. The 27 year old Pg County Laurel, Maryland product stands 6’1 weighing in at 200lbs. He started all 4 years at Seton Hill University where he was awarded 3x First Team All Conference in one of the most competitive and biggest NCAA D2 conferences: the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). 2015 was awarded it as Return Specialist, 2016 as a reciever, and 2017 at Runningback. McClam also holds the record at Seton Hill for catches in a game with 15, and even most rushing yards in a single game going for 291 yards on 11 carries and 3 touchdowns.

After attending the same NFL Pro Day as QB Christian Strong, McClam was unable to get picked up as an undrafted free agent. So took his talents to Brisbane, Australia where he played alongside Strong on the Brisbane Rhinos of the Gridiron Queensland League. While here, they would reach the championship finals but unfortunately came up short. Shortly after McClam took his talents to GFL2 in Langenfeld Longhorns where he started at Quarterback in 2019, leading the league in total offensive yards with 1,445 rushing yards / 22 rushing touchdowns + 2,066 passing yards / 25 passing touchdowns + 1 receiving touchdown, 1 interception touchwon as well; totaling 49 touchdowns in 2019.
