Das Motto: „Sei immer der Hammer, nicht der Nagel“ wird bei unseren Jungs in der Defensive sehr groß geschrieben! Sie verteidigen und beschützen unser Krokodil Nest, sie liegen jederzeit auf der Lauer, um unseren Angreifer abzuwehren und zu eliminieren.

Jahn Lara Perez (#96)
Was sind die Cologne Crocodiles für dich bzw. was macht es für dich besonders? – „Die CC geben mir die Möglichkeit als Spieler aber auch als Mensch zu wachsen. Meine Mitspieler entwickeln sich für mich immer mehr zu Brüdern, was uns als Team sehr stärkt.“

Beschreibe das Team in drei Worten. – „Lernfähig, hungrig, ready.“

Was magst du besonders an deiner Position? Wie kamst du zu dieser? Ist es auch deine Lieblingsposition? – „An meiner Position gefällt mir am meisten, dass ich meine Schnelligkeit gut einsetzen kann und mich allgemein viel bewegen kann und Techniken anwende. Dadurch dass ich relativ kräftig bin ist die Position auch eine gute Möglichkeit um diese zu nutzen.“

Dein persönliches Saisonziel 2021? – „Mein persönliches Ziel für diese Saison sind definitiv die Playoffs und Championship.“

Was macht die Faszination American Football für dich aus? – „An Football fasziniert mich am meisten, dass man Kontakte und Freundschaften fürs Leben aufbaut.“

Wie bereitest du dich mental auf ein Spiel vor? – „Vor einem Spiel bereite ich mich mit Musik und Gebeten vor.“

Tim Lange (#94)
What do the Cologne Crocodiles mean to you? What makes it special for you to play with the Crocodiles? – „As a guy whos born in Cologne, its an honor to play for „my City“.“

Describe the Team in 3 words! – „Young, humble and hungry.“

Where do you see yourself on the team? – „Backup whos ready to step up if the team needs me.“

How did you get into American Football? – „My little sister started playing, and I wanted to show her, that the „Big Brother“ can keep up with her!“

What do you particularly like about your position? How did you come to this? Is it your favorite position? – „Barely played another position, but its my favourite Position, Good mix of atleticism and Power.“

Where do you see the Crocodiles this season? – „Playoffs – Baby!!“

What has been your highlight so far this season – „Opening Game win @home vs. Dresden.“

Marcus Rill (#90)
What do the Cologne Crocodiles mean to you? – „I always dreamed to play GFL football, and the Cologne Crocodiles was the first team I saw playing live. I was so impressed by how fast and strong their players were, and playing in this team now is a great honor to me.“

Describe the team in three words. – „One big family.“

Where do you see yourself in the team? – „Helping the starting DLine to get a break if needed.“

How did you get into American Football? – „I was fed up with my old sports, and wanted something physical.“

What do you like about your Position? – „I love having 1on1 matchups.“

What is your Personal Goal? – „Contribute the most I can to the Team.“

What has been your highlight so far this season? – „Winning against Dresden as the underdog.“

What is your fascination of football? – „The family behind it. You can only understand this if you play yourself.“

How do you mentally prepare? – „Watching gametape and getting hyped up with Music.“

Andre Wilde(#95)
What do the Cologne Crocodiles mean to you? – „Because of the history and the solidarity of this organisation makes me to feel special to be a part of it.“

Describe the team in three words. – „Brotherhood, humble, special.“

What do you like about your position? – „What a feeling to be a starter in the GFL after be a player in the prospect team – unbelievable dream! I love my position because I’m helping other players to be great.“

What is your personal goal? – „Step-up and play as good as I can and helping the team to reach the Playoffs.“

Adrian Dula (#91)
Was sind die Cologne Crocodiles für sich bzw. was macht es für dich besonders? – „Die Crocs sind mir über die Zeit sehr ans Herz gewachsen. Der Zusammenhalt der Organisation von der Jugend bis in die GFL ist überragend. Es ist macht mich stolz für Köln zu spielen.“

Beschreibe das Team in drei Worten. – „International, hungrig, jung.“

Wo siehst du dich im Team? Welchen Platz hast du eingenommen? – „Ich bin der, der immer ein Stückchen drüber ist und damit die Leute motiviert!“

Wie kamst du zum American Football? – „Mein Vater hat Football gespielt, einer seiner alten Team Kollegen (Michi Siefken) hat mich dann überredet mal zum Training zu kommen und so nahm alles seinen Lauf.“

Was magst du besonders an deiner Position? Wie kamst du zu dieser? Ist es auch deine Lieblingsposition? – „Ich liebe die D-line. Die Kombination aus Athletik und Kraft, sowie das blitzschnelle lesen und reagieren, ist das, was mich an der Position so begeistert.“

Was ist dein persönliches Saisonziel für 2021? – „Der Germanbowl.“

Wo siehst du die Crocodiles in dieser Saison? – „In den Playoffs.“

Was war ein Highlight der aktuellen Saison? – „Zwei Sacks in einem Spiel.“

Was macht die Faszination American Football für dich aus? – „Die Strategie und die Härte. Aber das schönste ist selber auf dem Feld zu stehen und das Gefühl mit deinen Jungs eine eingeschworene Einheit zu sein.“

Wie bereitest du dich mental auf ein Spiel vor? – „Ich höre viel Musik und versuche mich zu fokussieren.“

Bruce Tamara (#54)
What do the Cologne crocodiles mean to you? – „The crocs are to me a great uprising team with a smart staff of coaches who really know what they’re talking about when it comes to football, it’s worth the drive i make 2,5 hours forth and back!“

Describe the team in three words. – „Its a young, talented and hungry team.“

Where do you see yourself in the team? – „As someone who still has to learn a lot.“

How did you get into American Football? – „Both my brothers used to play back in the day and when 1 of them started again, I tried it out and fell in love instantly.“

What do you particularly like about your position? How did you come to this? Is it your favorite position? – „What I like about my position is it’s a lot of “violence” there’s contact all the time you can do anything important you really have to beat the man in front of you first, it’s where I was put at first. I would also really like to play outside linebacker, but still as an edge, like Von Miller for those that know him.“

How do you mentally prepare for a game? – „I just watch the game tape and study the playbook, I just gotta stay relaxed and enjoy being on the field.“
